Edwardsville Township Community Park, affectionately known as Airplane Park by many in the local area, is home to a United States Navy A-7E Corsair II aircraft. The aircraft is property of the National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) in Pensacola, FL, on loan to Edwardsville Township. The aircraft has been on display in the park for more than 22 years and preserves an important piece of Naval Aviation history in honor of the men and women who serve our country.
