Mark your calendars for Saturday October 15, 2016! Global Brew will be hosting The Beer & Chili Festival at the Edwardsville Township Community Park, Airplane Park. The festival is a community event that will contain an area to taste all of Global Brew’s fall taps, listen to great live music, taste local restaurants chili recipes and vote on your favorite, and a children’s fall-themed activity area. The Edwardsville Township will be in charge of the children’s activity area. The plan for the event comes out of an idea for a fall festival fundraiser to raise money for MISSION PRESERVATION: The Campaign to Restore the Plane, that the Township has launched. The partnership between Global Brew and Edwardsville Township will assist in the fundraiser for the restoration for the U.S. Navy A-7E Corsair II located at the Edwardsville Township Community Park.
There are opportunities to volunteer at the festival in the children’s activity area, parking assistance, and set up and tear down of the event. Please click HERE in order to register to volunteer!
